AI Engineer

AI Engineer A leading company in Northern Israel is looking for an AI Engineer to develop advanced AI solutions based on LLM technologies. The role combines backend and frontend development and includes building end-to-end AI products, working with embeddings, VectorDB, RAG architectures, LLM integrations, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and deployment in both cloud and offline environments. Responsibilities: Developing backend services for AI products, including APIs, data processing flows, and system integrations Designing and developing RAG solutions, including document management, chunking, indexing, semantic search, and re-ranking Working with VectorDB technologies, including schema design, query optimization, index management, and performance monitoring Integrating advanced LLM models, optimizing prompts, defining guardrails, and building evaluation processes Managing AI models, including training, optimization, fine-tuning, quantization, serving, and deployment Applying advanced prompt engineering techniques, including templates, few-shot prompting, rules, constraints, and conversation context management Defining quality tests for LLM outputs, including consistency, factuality, safety, instruction-following, and regression testing between versions Improving model outputs through system prompts, parameter tuning, and model behavior optimization Developing frontend interfaces using React with Next.js or Nuxt.js, including AI system interfaces and operational dashboards Requirements: At least 2 years of proven experience developing AI solutions based on LLM technologies – mandatory Hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, Flask, React, Next.js, VectorDB, LLM serving, containers, Kubernetes, and Git – mandatory Experience developing RAG-based solutions and working with embeddings – significant advantage Experience working in cloud environments and/or disconnected offline environments – advantage Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field – advantage Show more Show less
