About Scouter

Scouter is an independent index of open hi-tech and AI jobs in Israel. It collects postings every morning from Israeli job boards, recruitment agencies and companies' own career pages, and publishes what the pool measures about itself.

What this site is

Every listing here links out to the employer's own posting. Applications are not taken on this site, no CV is collected and nothing is forwarded to an employer on your behalf — the job of this site is to find the posting and hand you over to it.

Alongside the listings it publishes a hiring index: how many roles are open, in which regions, at which employers, and how those counts are moving. That index is built from the same pool the search runs on, so any figure it states can be checked by clicking through to the postings behind it.

Who runs it

Scouter is built and run by Raz Eckhous through Raz Technologies, an independent Israeli software studio in Herzliya. Raz is an IT project manager and business analyst with fifteen years in Israeli finance and technology; you can find him on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/in/razeckhouse/. The site exists for one purpose: to help people in Israel get into, and move within, the Israeli hi-tech and AI industry — by putting every open role in one place, in Hebrew and in English, with the numbers behind the market stated plainly.

It is not owned by a job board, a recruitment agency or an employer, and it does not take money from any of them.

What it will not do

No listing is promoted for payment and there is no advertising anywhere on the site — search results are ordered by relevance and recency, never by who paid.

No salary figure is published for any individual job. Very few Israeli postings state pay at all, and estimating one would put a number on an employer's advert that the employer never wrote. What is published instead is how often employers state pay, which is a measurement rather than a guess.

Nothing is invented to fill a gap. Where a posting does not name an employer, a location or a salary, the field is absent from this site and from its structured data rather than filled with a plausible value.

Corrections

Listings are collected automatically and some of them will be wrong — a filled role still showing, a mis-read location, an employer name spelled two ways. If you are an employer who wants a posting removed, or a reader who found something wrong, write to us through the contact page — no account needed. A correction is made at the source it came from rather than patched onto one page.
