IT Project Manager

IT Project Manager | Banking Core Systems | Central Israel A leading financial organization is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex technology and business projects involving mission-critical banking and financial core systems. This role combines end-to-end project management, financial systems expertise, Mainframe environments, and cross-functional collaboration across business and technology teams. What You'll Do Lead complex IT projects from initiation and requirements gathering through development, testing, implementation, and production Manage projects involving core banking and financial systems Define project plans, timelines, scope, milestones, dependencies, and risks Coordinate Business, IT, Operations, Infrastructure, Information Security, and external vendors Lead requirements gathering and support functional and technical analysis Oversee development, integration, testing, and implementation activities Manage interfaces and dependencies between internal and external systems Drive organizational changes and implementation of new systems and processes Ensure alignment with business continuity and regulatory requirements What We're Looking For 4+ years of experience managing technology projects within a financial institution Significant experience with core banking or financial systems Hands-on professional experience working with Mainframe (MF) environments in a banking or financial context Strong understanding of banking or financial business and operational processes Experience managing complex system integrations and cross-organizational projects Experience working with Agile methodologies Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering and Management, Computer Science, or a related field Strong communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills Advantages Previous experience in Systems Analysis Familiarity with major banking or financial platforms Knowledge of financial regulations, risk management, and compliance Experience leading complex integration projects Central Israel | Full-time Show more Show less
