The Role: Senior QA Automation Engineer We’re looking for a seasoned Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our R&D group and take ownership of automated test coverage across our product suite. You’ll design and scale automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing, strengthen our CI/CD environment, and serve as a core technical pillar of the QA team. What You’ll Be Doing: • Design and implement comprehensive web, mobile, and API automation solutions from end to end. • Develop, maintain, and scale robust automation infrastructure, frameworks, and internal tools. • Maintain a stable and efficient CI/CD testing environment using Argo CD. • Own progression and regression automated test coverage to ensure product quality and reliability. • Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, execution speed, stability, and maintainability. • Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. What You Bring to the Table: • 5+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience in automation development. • Strong programming proficiency in Python and extensive experience with frameworks such as pytest. • Proven experience designing scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks from the ground up. • Hands-on expertise with web automation tools such as Playwright and Selenium. • Experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium and UIAutomator2. • Practical experience implementing Behavior-Driven Development methodologies and frameworks. • Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or custom Python scripts is an advantage. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical challenges, project progress, and quality metrics to cross-functional teams. • A B.Sc. or relevant degree in Computer Science, or a strong background in object-oriented programming languages, is an advantage. • A highly motivated and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently. 🎁 What’s in It for You: • Take full ownership of automation strategy within a fast-scaling product ecosystem. • Build and scale automation infrastructure across web, mobile, and API platforms. • Work closely with QA, Product, Engineering, and R&D leadership. • Mentor other engineers while continuing to deepen your hands-on technical expertise. • Help build reliable products that are transforming local commerce.
