Forward Deployed Data Arhitect

We are seeking a high-caliber Forward-Deployed Solutions Architect & Data Engineer to bridge the gap between core R&D and our enterprise clients. In this hands-on, high-impact role, you will embed directly within customer technical ecosystems—architecting scalable data pipelines, implementing AI/LLM-powered workflows, and driving rapid value creation. You will serve as both a deep technical builder and a strategic advisor to client data leadership, C-suite executives, and enterprise engineering teams. Core Responsibilities Forward-Deployed Architecture & Execution: Embed within client environments to map infrastructure, execute hands-on technical deployments, and drive rapid platform adoption. Technical & Domain Advisory: Provide hands-on implementation guidance, solution design, and data pipeline scaffolding throughout discovery, POC, and production rollout phases. Customer Discovery & Roadmap Synthesis: Lead deep-dive discovery workshops with enterprise stakeholders, translating complex data challenges into actionable technical specifications and internal R&D roadmap priorities. Voice of the Client & Product Influence: Partner directly with Founders and R&D leaders to translate recurring client patterns into scalable platform capabilities, providing direct feedback on system architecture and usability. Data Health Tracking & Optimization: Establish data health tracking, integration telemetry, and pipeline validation to ensure enterprise-grade reliability across customer deployments. What You’ll Bring 8+ years of hands-on technical experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Architecture —a true builder profile with deep technical delivery experience – Mandatory . Enterprise Delivery: Proven track record of architecting and deploying data solutions directly within complex enterprise client environments. Hands-on Technical Depth: Ability to independently author code, build robust pipelines, design POCs, and execute complex API/data integrations. AI & Agentic Systems Context: Practical experience working with AI, Generative AI, LLM-powered applications, or agentic automation frameworks . Executive Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and technical communication skills, with the ability to navigate both C-level business discussions and deep architectural code reviews. Advantages Deep stack experience with modern data ecosystems: Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Data Platform, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Monte Carlo, Atlan, Alation . Prior background as a Forward-Deployed Engineer (FDE) , Principal Solutions Architect, or Enterprise Technical Pre-Sales Lead. Background scaling technology within early-stage, high-growth, or venture-backed startups. Flexibility for customer-site visits or strategic travel as required.
