1794 - Liaison Officer - U.S. Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT)

Sigma Defense is seeking a Liaison Officer, U.S. Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT) Forward (FWD) and Technical Integration Requirements Specialist (TIRS). This position is in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War (OASW) for (SO/LIC) SSO. The ASW(SO/LIC) serves as the principal civilian advisor and Assistant to the Secretary of War and has statutory responsibility for overseeing Special Operations-peculiar administrative matters pertaining to the readiness and organization of Special Operations Forces (SOF), resources, equipment, and civilian personnel. Travel frequency is up to 25%, with travel between Israel, Washington, D.C., and other locations in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility (including forward operating areas, partner areas, and other OCONUS/CONUS locations). The position deploys with and accompanies supported SOF units in hostile, denied and austere environments for prolonged periods. This position includes independent travel and work without supervision for extended periods as well as the requirement to carry a 35-pound load without assistance for long periods of time.
