DevOps / Configuration Management

We are looking for a highly motivated and positive ALM / DevOps Engineer to join our R&D software team. In this role, you will play an active part in supporting the software development and release lifecycle, focusing on automation, infrastructure reliability, and troubleshooting—fully within a Windows environment . 🎯 The 3 Core Pillars of the Role (Must-Have): TFS / Azure DevOps Server Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with this platform are a must. Managing and automating Build and Release pipelines, handling branches and merges, and working fluently with both TFVC and Git as source control systems. Automation & Scripting Mastery: Strong capabilities in writing and developing scripts using PowerShell and Batch files , combined with C# programming skills to drive and support automation initiatives. Infrastructure & Virtualization Savvy: Deep understanding of the Windows Operating System and proven hands-on experience in virtualized environments ( VMware / ESXi ), including daily operation and configuration of virtual machines (VMs). 📋 Additional Responsibilities: Managing Work Items, customizing controls, and building queries and reports within Azure DevOps. Managing build machines, application packaging, installation, and system performance considerations. Writing scripts and maintaining deployment/release processes in strict compliance with company procedures. 🌟 Personal Attributes (Soft Skills): A True Team Player: Ability to work closely and interact effectively with various software development task forces.
