Founding DevOps

We are an early-stage Cyber AI startup in stealth mode, backed by leading investors and already working with paying US Enterprise customers. We are developing an AI-powered platform that helps large organizations understand their infrastructure dependencies and ensure they can recover critical systems following cyberattacks. We are looking for a highly skilled, hands-on DevOps / Cloud Engineer to become our first dedicated DevOps hire and take full ownership of our infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape our infrastructure from the ground up, make key architectural decisions, and play a significant role in scaling our technology and engineering capabilities. What You'll Do Own the design, architecture, implementation, and operation of our cloud and on-prem infrastructure. Build scalable, reliable, and secure production environments from the ground up. Design, deploy, and manage complex Kubernetes environments. Develop infrastructure automation, internal tools, and engineering solutions. Work extensively with AWS and support infrastructure across additional cloud environments, including Azure. Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and infrastructure reliability. Take ownership of infrastructure challenges across development and production environments. Collaborate closely with the R&D team and founders to support product development and technical growth. Drive architectural decisions, establish infrastructure best practices, and continuously improve our engineering processes. Requirements Significant hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer in complex production environments. Deep Kubernetes expertise , including hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters. Strong AWS experience and familiarity with Azure. Proven experience building and designing infrastructure from scratch, rather than solely maintaining existing environments. Strong programming and scripting skills, with the ability to develop automation tools and infrastructure-related software. Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and distributed systems. Experience working with on-premises infrastructure and hybrid environments. Strong troubleshooting skills, technical independence, and an engineering-oriented mindset. Ability to take end-to-end ownership and thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment. Nice to Have Hands-on experience with Argo Workflows . Background in Cyber Security or security-focused products. Experience supporting complex Enterprise environments. Experience building infrastructure for products at an early stage.
