Python Developer - Back Testing System Location: Tel Aviv A leading organization is seeking a Python Developer to develop an advanced Back Testing system for designing new indices and analyzing historical data. The role combines hands-on development, complex data processing, technical specification writing, and technical leadership of development tasks. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the calculation engine and system components. Develop complex data processing workflows in Python. Analyze requirements, write technical specifications, and define development tasks. Participate in developing new system capabilities and specifying the user interface. Collaborate with system clients and cross-functional teams, including Development, Infrastructure, DBA, and QA. Write test specifications, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot issues. Required Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience in Python development. Hands-on experience with Pandas and NumPy, including complex data processing. Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) in Python. Experience in requirements analysis and technical specification writing. Strong SQL Server skills, including table and index design and writing efficient queries. Experience with Git, test specification writing, code reviews, and secure coding practices. Advantages: Familiarity with capital markets and index design. Experience developing mission-critical systems. Familiarity with OpenShift. Experience with C#, JavaScript, Angular, and TypeScript.
