Hardware Product Manager

Role Description- Serving as a Senior Hardware Product Manager, taking complete end-to-end product lifecycle ownership over complex physical hardware systems, tactical deployment kits, and multidisciplinary defense appliances. Leading product evolution across the full lifecycle: from initial market requirements and technical roadmaps through NPI, commercial release, serial manufacturing scaling, sustaining, and field upgrades. Defining and driving Product Configurations, physical form factors, and packaging strategies tailored for rugged field environments and operational defense profiles. Partnering intensively across cross-functional engineering and operational units: Hardware, System Engineering, Software, Mechanical R&D, Operations, Quality Assurance, and Global Sales. Collaborating closely with manufacturing and operations to drive production scaling, DFM (Design for Manufacturing) optimizations, BOM structuring, and rapid resolution of field hardware anomalies. Spearheading military and commercial qualification, environmental testing, and regulatory certifications, including MIL-STD, EMC/EMF, ingress protection (IP Ratings), and international FCC/CE compliance. Overseeing technical documentation, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), comprehensive installation manuals, and sales enablement assets. Providing technical product authority in pre-sales engineering engagements, technical customer demonstrations, and client-facing architecture sessions. Requirements- B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanics from an accredited academic institution – Mandatory At least 4 years of proven professional experience as a Product Manager dedicated to complex Hardware, Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical systems – Mandatory Proven track record leading the full hardware product lifecycle from early definition and roadmap through serial manufacturing, deployment, and sustaining – Mandatory Strong practical experience working with BOMs, DFM processes, hardware configurations, and product qualification workflows – Mandatory Hands-on familiarity with international military standards and compliance certifications (MIL-STD, EMC/EMI, IP ratings, CE, or FCC) – Mandatory Demonstrated ability to collaborate seamlessly across multidisciplinary R&D disciplines (Hardware, Mechanics, System, Firmware/Software) and operational units – Mandatory Fluent, professional communication and technical documentation capabilities in English (written and verbal) – Mandatory
