DevOps Team Lead

CONTROP is looking for an experienced and hands-on DevOps Team Lead to establish and lead our next-generation DevOps capability. This is a unique opportunity to build modern DevOps infrastructure from the ground up, drive engineering automation, introduce AI-powered development practices, and shape the way complex multidisciplinary products are developed, tested, and delivered. Responsibilities Define and execute the DevOps strategy, architecture, and roadmap across Software and Embedded Software R&D. Build and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and engineering infrastructure. Lead the implementation of automated testing, release management, artifact traceability, and quality monitoring solutions. Drive the adoption of AI-powered tools, LLMs, and intelligent automation within development and DevOps workflows. Own and improve engineering toolchains, including Git, Jira, and related integrations. Partner with Software, Embedded, QA, and IT teams to enhance engineering efficiency and product quality. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing DevOps team while remaining highly hands-on. Requirements 7+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, engineering automation, or development infrastructure. Proven experience building DevOps infrastructure and engineering processes from scratch in multiple organizations or product environments. Strong hands-on expertise in CI/CD architecture, automation, scripting, infrastructure integration, and troubleshooting. Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket, Jira, artifact repositories, and static code analysis tools. Experience establishing automated testing and release management frameworks. Practical experience integrating AI tools, LLMs, or AI agents into software engineering or DevOps workflows. Strong understanding of software and embedded development lifecycles. Experience with on-premises infrastructure, including Linux servers, networking, and virtualization. Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Advantage Previous experience leading and growing DevOps teams. Experience with C/C++, Embedded Linux, and real-time systems. Azure DevOps administration experience. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, HIL environments, and automated hardware testing. Background in defense, aerospace, electro-optics, or other complex multidisciplinary organizations.
