Design Verification Engineer

About the Role ELTA Systems, part of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), is looking for a Design Verification & Integration Team Leader to join the Airborne Systems Division. Key Responsibilities Leading a team of engineers responsible for integration and testing activities in laboratories Defining procedures, tools, and resources for integration and testing, from the initial design stage through acceptance testing Establishing and managing system integration laboratories according to project requirements, including hardware and software components Training team members, prioritizing tasks, developing work plans, and managing activities to meet project milestones Serving as a technical focal point and providing professional guidance and support to team members Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar engineering discipline) – mandatory At least 5 years of experience in system integration, system testing, and hardware and/or software troubleshooting – mandatory Willingness to travel abroad – mandatory High level of English proficiency – mandatory Experience managing engineering teams – significant advantage Military command or officer experience (combat, technical, or Air Force units) – significant advantage Experience in Systems Engineering, including system design and requirements definition – advantage Experience working with complex systems and large-scale projects – advantage Experience with airborne systems and/or technical service in the Air Force – advantage Practical engineering or technician diploma – advantage Background in software, IT, and working with Linux/Unix – advantage Experience with avionics systems and airborne sensors – advantage About the Team The Design Verification & Integration department within the Airborne Systems facility leads testing, integration, and implementation activities for mission aircraft throughout the engineering and development stages and during deployment.
