We are seeking an experienced Data Ops Director to join our growing Data Operations organization. Working closely with the VP of Data Operations, you will lead the department's headquarters team and drive operational excellence across our global data collection network. You will play a key role in scaling the infrastructure behind one of the world's largest brain data platforms, ensuring our clinical and research operations remain efficient, reliable, and ready for growth. In this position you will: Partner closely with the VP of Data Operations to drive strategic and operational initiatives across the organization. Lead and develop the HQ Data Operations management team, including Participant Recruitment, Clinical Recruitment, Program Management, and Clinical Data. Drive operational excellence across our global network of clinical and scale data collection sites. Own department-wide operational processes, ensuring high-quality data collection, standardized protocols, and continuous process improvement. Lead cross-functional initiatives such as launching new data collection sites, implementing operational tools, and scaling new workflows. Develop and monitor operational KPIs, identify risks and bottlenecks, and drive data-informed decision making. Collaborate closely with Research, AI, Engineering, Legal, Regulatory, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of company priorities. Take ownership of complex operational challenges and deliver scalable solutions in a fast-paced startup environment. Work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced startup environment. Our ideal candidate will: Have 6+ years of experience leading operational teams in data, clinical operations, healthcare, or related environments, including at least 3 years managing managers or multidisciplinary teams. Be an exceptional people leader who builds trust, empowers teams, and leads through collaboration. Have experience building and scaling operational organizations, preferably in clinical research, healthcare, life sciences, or another highly regulated environment. Have experience working with clinical operations, hospitals, clinical studies, or large-scale data collection programs. Be highly analytical, KPI-driven, and comfortable making data-informed decisions. Thrive in complex, cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders. Have outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence. Be proactive, hands-on, and comfortable taking ownership from strategy through execution. Be tech-savvy and comfortable working alongside technical and clinical teams. Hold a Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree is an advantage. Previous startup experience is a plus.
