QA Engineer We are looking for a hands-on QA professional who takes ownership of quality, identifies edge cases, understands systems end-to-end, and works closely with the development team to prevent issues before they reach production. Job Summary PayPlus, a leading fintech company providing financial solutions for businesses, is expanding its product portfolio and looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our R&D team. The role includes manual and automated testing, working closely with developers and product managers, and ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of our products throughout the development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Analyze requirements and user stories and define appropriate test scenarios. Create and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites. Perform functional, integration, system, end-to-end, exploratory, and regression testing. Test REST APIs, backend services, databases, and integrations with external systems. Identify, document, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar tools. Develop and maintain automated tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. Perform performance, scalability, and load testing when required. Investigate production issues using logs, monitoring tools, and database queries. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate closely with Development, Product, and QA teams. Ensure software meets quality standards before release. Required Skills 3+ years of experience in Software QA. Strong experience with manual and automated testing. Experience with API testing using Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar tools. Experience with SQL and database validation. Experience with Jira or similar bug tracking/test management tools. Good understanding of web applications, APIs, microservices, and client-server architecture. Automation experience using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or similar languages. Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar frameworks. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or LoadRunner. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Qualifications & Advantages Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — advantage. Experience with fintech, payments, or financial systems — strong advantage. Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Kibana — advantage. Experience testing mobile applications with Appium— advantage. Show more Show less
