Founding AI & Software Engineer

Puntopa is an early-stage startup building a cutting-edge AI platform that redefines hardware development.We're looking for an AI & software expert to join our founding team. You'll help define the product, build the core technology from scratch, and make the key technical decisions that shape the company. What you'll do • Develop the AI technology at the heart of our product, from research and prototyping all the way to production. • Build our SaaS platform end to end: architecture, backend, data, and infrastructure. • Work closely with the founders on product direction, and with early customers to understand what they really need. • Set the technical foundations and culture as the team grows. What we're looking for • Strong hands-on experience building and shipping AI/ML systems (LLMs, deep learning, or similar). • Solid software engineering skills and experience building SaaS or cloud-based platforms. • Proficient with Claude Code, using it to 10x your development output. • Previous experience as a software manager, with the ability to build and lead a strong engineering team as we grow. • Ability to own things end to end, from architecture to deployment. • Entrepreneurial mindset: you move fast, you're pragmatic, and you're comfortable with uncertainty. • Advantage: embedded background, or experience with hardware, electronics, or the hardware industry.
