Build infrastructure for agentic workflows, including vector databases and persistent storage. Create consistent development environments with the required SDKs, toolchains, and environment variables. Support developers and AI researchers with environment, build, GPU driver, and networking issues. Write clear documentation and troubleshooting guides, and help teammates develop their Linux and Nix skills. What you need Strong Linux administration skills and an understanding of kernel and userland environments. Experience with performance tuning, systemd, journald, and low-level troubleshooting. Hands-on networking experience, including Layer 2/3, VLANs, bonding/LACP, and custom routing. Experience with firewalls such as nftables or iptables and VPNs such as WireGuard or OpenVPN. Experience with secrets management and authentication integrations such as SSH, OIDC, or LDAP. Ability to write clean, maintainable scripts and tools using Bash and Python or Rust. Experience with CI/CD, advanced Git workflows, and code reviews. Ability to deploy and operate local inference services and supporting AI infrastructure. Ability to troubleshoot GPU driver and CUDA issues, as well as native dependency and build failures. Excellent communication, patience, active listening, and a service-oriented approach to supporting colleagues. A commitment to reproducibility, auditability, and clear documentation. Major advantages Experience with NixOS, custom Nix packages, modules, and Flakes. Experience handling non-standard build systems, patches, and native C/C++ dependencies. Experience with multi-node deployment tools such as Colmena, Morph, NixOps, or Deploy-rs. Hands-on experience or familiarity with NVIDIA Blackwell systems, including DGX B200 or B300. We’re looking for someone who loves Linux, enjoys improving infrastructure, and brings patience and approachability to helping teammates resolve technical issues. Show more Show less
