System Engineer

Description This is a key technical leadership role within our engineering team, offering the opportunity to influence system design from concept through deployment while working closely with development teams, customers, and suppliers in Israel and abroad. The position combines hands-on systems engineering with strategic technical leadership in a dynamic and mission-driven environment developing cutting-edge defense technologies. Key Responsibilities Lead the system architecture and end-to-end development of complex multidisciplinary systems. Define system requirements and allocate them to subsystems and components. Develop and maintain system specifications, interface definitions, and verification plans. Perform system analysis, requirements management, and technical trade-off evaluations. Lead system integration activities and support assembly, testing, and validation efforts. Drive design reviews and ensure compliance with technical and operational requirements. Provide technical leadership and engineering guidance across multidisciplinary development teams. Work directly with customers and suppliers throughout the system lifecycle. Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies. Represent the system engineering function in technical and program reviews. Requirements Mandatory B.Sc. or higher in Engineering. Minimum 7 years of experience in System Engineering of complex multidisciplinary systems. Proven experience leading development and integration of large-scale systems. Strong understanding of system architecture, requirements engineering, and verification methodologies. Experience working in a multidisciplinary matrix organization. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently while leading cross-functional efforts. Advantages Experience with defense, aerospace, or homeland security systems. Familiarity with electro-optical systems, precision mechanics, sensing technologies, or control systems. Experience with UAV, Counter-UAS, surveillance, or mission-critical platforms. Background in integration and field testing of operational systems.
