EO Solutions Engineer

Orbit Communication Systems is a leading global provider of innovative communication solutions for airborne, maritime, ground-station, satellite-tracking, Earth Observation, and New Space applications. The company delivers advanced, reliable, and mission-focused systems to commercial and government customers worldwide. We are looking for a Ground Stations Solutions Engineer to join our Ground Systems and Integrated Solutions team. The role combines customer engagement, technical analysis, and solution development, serving as a bridge between customers, Sales, Engineering, R&D, Operations, and Program Management. Engage with customers to understand mission objectives, operational concepts, technical constraints, and desired outcomes. Analyze requirements and translate them into practical ground segment and mission-support solution concepts. Develop technical solutions involving ground stations, tracking systems, RF subsystems, software applications, and supporting infrastructure. Support proposals, compliance matrices, customer presentations, system descriptions, and solution documentation. Participate in customer meetings, technical reviews, demonstrations, workshops, testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities. Investigate operational anomalies, signal characteristics, RF performance, mission workflows, and system performance issues. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related technical discipline. At least 3 years of experience in technical pre-sales, SATCOM, RF, ground systems, or related technical roles. Understanding of satellite communications, ground segment systems, RF chains, link budgets, and multidisciplinary systems. Experience in requirement analysis, technical documentation, customer-facing activities, and technical presentations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational interface skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Experience with Earth Observation, remote sensing, test range, space-related systems, or technological military units is an advantage.
