Research Program Manager, Biomedical AI & Clinical Research SAMPL LABORATORY WEIZMANN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE REHOVOT, ISRAEL The Clinical Research Manager will coordinate clinical research activities and hospital collaborations within the SAMPL Laboratory, supporting the PI’s research program in signal processing, AI-enabled sensing, biomedical imaging, and physiological monitoring. The role combines clinical study coordination, comprehensive grant administration coordination, project tracking, budget monitoring, and academic recruitment coordination. The manager reports directly to the PI and works collaboratively with the Laboratory Director on shared operational needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and coordinate multiple clinical research projects and hospital collaborations, including project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and communication with clinicians and external research partners. Coordinate clinical study protocols, documentation, IRB/ethics submissions, research agreements, and clinical data workflows, including follow-up with investigators and institutional committees to ensure compliance with study requirements and track regulatory approvals. Identify grant opportunities and coordinate proposal preparation, submission processes, deadlines, grant administration documentation, progress reports, and funder reporting. Manage and track clinical research projects, budgets, expenditure status, and financial reporting in coordination with the PI and authorized institutional finance functions. Maintain organized records of active projects, grant obligations, study documentation, recruitment activities, and external contacts; proactively flag risks and deadlines. Coordinate with the Laboratory Director and technical teams where clinical projects depend on prototypes, equipment, engineering schedules, or system demonstrations. Coordinate recruitment of students, postdocs, and research staff. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS MSc in biology, biomedical sciences, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a closely related discipline. At least five years of relevant experience in clinical research coordination or research project management. Demonstrated experience coordinating clinical research activities and hospital collaborations. Strong project management skills, including coordination of concurrent projects, schedules, budgets, milestones, and reporting. Experience with research grants, including identification of opportunities, proposal coordination, submissions, and reporting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew; strong organizational and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary academic research environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in an academic research institute or hospital-based research setting. Familiarity with clinical ethics submission workflows, applicable research regulations, and research data confidentiality. Exposure to biomedical sensing, ultrasound, medical imaging, physiological monitoring, or medical-device research. Experience coordinating academic recruitment and multiple external research stakeholders. Start Date: Immediate availability preferred
