QA Team Lead

A high-profile, globally operating Unicorn and networking technology scale-up engineering next-generation software platforms for the telecommunications and cloud networking sectors. Backed by substantial late-stage venture funding (including a major Series C), the company employs hundreds of professionals worldwide with a large R&D center in Israel. The organization develops high-efficiency software architectures enabling major global telecom operators to scale network capacity and optimize operational expenditures. Located in the Sharon District, operating on a hybrid model with one day working from home. Role Description- Serving as QA E2E Team Leader, leading a high-caliber team of 2–4 engineers with full end-to-end quality ownership over a complex, high-throughput telecom networking platform. Driving comprehensive verification strategies spanning carrier-grade Networking protocols, distributed Cloud Native microservices (Kubernetes, REST, gRPC), and automated test frameworks. Spearheading an AI-first testing paradigm: integrating advanced AI tooling (Cursor, Claude, and autonomous AI Agents) to design test topologies, accelerate Python automation development, analyze regressions, and optimize debugging lifecycles. Designing and executing deep end-to-end verification of complex network topologies and core routing protocols including BGP, MPLS, OSPF, and ISIS. Leading test automation architecture in Python, establishing robust continuous verification within automated CI/CD deployment pipelines. Collaborating cross-functionally with System Architects, Core Software Developers, and Product leaders to drive architectural quality and product resilience well beyond traditional QA boundaries. Requirements- 3 years of proven leadership experience as a QA Team Lead / E2E Verification Lead managing engineering teams – Mandatory Deep, high-level Networking expertise (CCNP certification level or equivalent deep theoretical and hands-on routing/switching mastery) – Mandatory Extensive, hands-on verification experience with core routing and transport protocols: BGP, OSPF, ISIS, and MPLS – Mandatory Advanced, hands-on proficiency using cutting-edge AI developer tools, LLMs, and autonomous Agent workflows (e.g., Claude, Cursor, AI agents) for test design, scripting, and troubleshooting – Mandatory Proven background in automated test development in Python within complex, distributed software environments – Mandatory Solid technical understanding of Cloud Native ecosystems, Microservices architectures, Kubernetes, and REST/gRPC interfaces – Mandatory Exceptional leadership, cross-team collaboration, and fluent professional communication skills in English (written and verbal) – Mandatory Show more Show less
