DevOps Engineer

Located in the Central / Sharon District adjacent to the train station, operating on a flexible hybrid model with 3 days working from home. Role Description Serving as the Lead / Founding DevOps Engineer, joining as the first and sole DevOps authority in the company, reporting directly to the CTO with end-to-end architectural and operational ownership over production cloud infrastructure. Designing, building, and maintaining modern, scalable, and secure cloud environments on GCP (Google Cloud Platform) using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code). Architecting and orchestrating enterprise-grade containerized workloads utilizing Kubernetes to ensure high availability, zero downtime, and elastic scalability. Building and optimizing continuous integration and delivery pipelines (CI/CD) using GitHub Actions, empowering development teams with rapid and reliable release cycles. Establishing comprehensive observability, metrics, and alerting infrastructure utilizing Prometheus, Grafana, and the Elastic Stack (ELK) to monitor critical trading workflows. Managing and tuning distributed high-throughput data and messaging platforms including Kafka and Redis within mission-critical, low-latency financial systems. Driving cloud security posture, compliance, disaster recovery strategies, and operational resilience across hybrid Linux environments. Requirements 5+ years of dedicated professional experience as a DevOps Engineer – Mandatory Deep, proven hands-on experience developing and managing infrastructure on Linux operating systems – Mandatory Strong, comprehensive expertise in Cloud environments (hands-on experience with GCP is a major plus; open to AWS/GCP) – Mandatory Extensive, production-level proficiency with Terraform (IaC) – Mandatory Proven background with container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker – Mandatory Strong experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) – Mandatory High degree of technical autonomy, self-direction, and ability to lead infrastructural initiatives as an independent contributor – Mandatory Fluent technical communication skills in English (written and verbal) – Mandatory Show more Show less
