Founding Data Engineer | Cybersecurity x AI We're looking for an outstanding Data Engineer with prior hands-on experience in cybersecurity to join the founding team of a new stealth cybersecurity startup building an advanced AI-native security platform . This opportunity is intended for strong engineers with deep data experience and a proven background in cybersecurity who thrive in early-stage startups, enjoy building systems from scratch, and want to play a defining role in shaping both the technology and the product. As one of the first engineers, you'll have end-to-end ownership and direct influence over the data architecture, backend systems, product capabilities, infrastructure, and technical direction from day one. The company is building a next-generation cybersecurity platform that uses AI to understand complex enterprise environments, analyze large volumes of security data, and automate critical security workflows. The company is backed by leading investors and founded by an experienced team with deep backgrounds in cybersecurity, software engineering, and early-stage technology companies. The team is already working with design partners while building the product from the ground up. What makes this opportunity unique? • One of the first engineering hires, with significant ownership and influence. • Build the company's data architecture and infrastructure from the ground up. • Work on large-scale ingestion, processing, transformation, and serving of complex security data. • Develop data-heavy backend systems that directly power core product capabilities. • Solve challenges across data engineering, backend development, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and AI. • Work across the stack when needed, in a small team where engineers are expected to be highly hands-on and versatile. • AI is at the core of the product, not an add-on. • Work side by side with an experienced founding team from strong cybersecurity and technology backgrounds. We're looking for engineers who: • Must have prior hands-on experience in cybersecurity. • Have strong hands-on experience in Data Engineering and building production-grade data systems. • Have experience with large-scale data pipelines, processing systems, and modern data infrastructure. • Bring strong software engineering fundamentals and are comfortable working beyond a traditional Data Engineer scope. • Have experience with technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, or similar data platforms , a strong advantage but not a must. • Are comfortable working with cloud environments, backend systems, and production infrastructure. • Take ownership from idea and architecture through implementation and production. • Enjoy working in startup environments where engineers solve a broad range of technical and product problems. • Hold a degree from a leading university and/or are graduates of elite military technology units. 📍 Tel Aviv Only relevant applications will be considered.
