Hardware Validation & Characterization Engineer - Camera & Laser Sensor Systems

Apple's Hardware group is home to some of the world's most advanced technologies - powering the experiences that define Apple products. We are looking for a highly motivated validation engineer to join our validation team. Our group is working on a unique innovative technology in the field of camera and lasers. Minimum qualifications: BSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering 3+ years of experience in analog/power validation, characterization, or hardware design verification Extensive experience in lab and measurement equipments such as: osciloscope, DMM, power supplies, signal generator, thermal imaging, electronic load, spectrum analyzer etc. Hands on CAD tool such as Cadence Capture and Allegro or Altium Demonstrated ability to work across the full validation cycle — from test plan definition through execution, analysis, and reporting Hands-on experience with power domain characterization in multi-sensor systems Strong proficiency in Python for test automation, data acquisition, instrumentation control, and analysis Preferred qualifications: Proven experience designing validation strategies and DFV methodologies for development platforms – Advantage Proven experience in board EMC and thermal simulations CAD tools such as Ansys or ADS - Advantage Solid understanding of laser safety standards and protection circuit requirements for compliance - Big advantage.
