QA Engineer – Defense Company, Northern Israel

A defense company in northern Israel is looking for a QA Engineer to join a team responsible for testing complex, multidisciplinary systems. The role includes planning and executing end-to-end system tests, analyzing requirements, writing test documentation, performing tests in system labs, analyzing results, reporting defects, and verifying bug fixes. The position also includes participation in lab integration processes, working with multiple interfaces, and taking part in tests at external sites according to project needs. Requirements: High school diploma and completion of a software testing / QA course – mandatory Experience in system-level testing or operating complex systems – mandatory Strong analytical thinking and ability to investigate system issues Experience writing test documentation and analyzing requirements Experience with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA, TFS, or similar Familiarity with communication protocols such as TCP/IP, RS422, SNMP, WebSocket, or REST API Experience with military, operational, C4I, or multidisciplinary systems – significant advantage Practical Engineer / Engineer background or ISTQB certification – advantage Show more Show less
