Technical Project Manager

Ottopia Defense | Systems & Operations Ottopia Defense, part of Ondas, develops teleoperation and Hybrid AI technology for ground vehicles in defense applications. The Systems & Operations department turns this technology into integrated systems that can be deployed, supported, and reproduced. This role will involve managing complex technical projects within the Delivery team and reporting to the Delivery Team Lead. Together with the delivery team (R&D and systems engineering), you will balance customer and business needs, budgets, operations, and system/software capabilities to shape priorities, the roadmap, and delivery. What you’ll do Own scope, milestones, dependencies, and budget tracking. Align customer commitments with systems engineering, software, QA, operations, and commercial teams. With the team lead, compare the trade-offs among paid projects, sales and marketing opportunities, internal initiatives, and shared development. Recommend priorities. Constructively challenge estimates, feasibility, interfaces and acceptance criteria with technical owners, bringing customer and market context. Translate strategy into delivery plans. Manage scope changes, capacity constraints and risks; clarify decisions and owners; and escalate conflicts early. Coordinate readiness, configuration, testing, installation, training, and handover. Prioritize customer requests across teams and follow issues through verified closure. Serve as the day-to-day liaison between customers and engineering teams, translating customer needs into actionable delivery requirements and coordinating technical responses, timelines, and expectations through acceptance and handover.
