Structural Engineering Analyst

The successful applicant will perform advanced structural, stress, and fatigue analyses to ensure the safety, durability, and compliance of aerospace components. You will bridge the gap between initial concepts and final, certified designs by validating both metallic and composite structures using a mix of traditional hand calculations and modern finite element modeling (FEM) software. Education & Experience • B.Sc or M.Sc in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering. • Experience of 5+ years of hands-on structural analyses in the aerospace industry, including stress, structural dynamics response, fatigue and damage tolerance analyses. Knowledge of metallic and composite material behaviour and analytical methods. Technical Skills • Perform stress analysis using classical hand calculations (Bruhn, Niu, Roark…) conventional analytical tools in static/dynamic stress analysis. • Experience with using finite element analysis (structural computational tools). Experience with NASTRAN/PATRAN/APEX - advantage. • Perform fatigue and metal damage tolerance analyses. Experience with NASGRO or AFGRO - advantage. • Ability to work in teamwork with structural design group members. Standards & Compliance • Previous experience in working with specifications & requirements for civilian aircraft (FAA, EASA, JAA…) - an advantage.
