NPI Engineer – Electronics – Temporary Position

DRS RADA is a global pioneer of radar systems for active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection, and border surveillance. We are seeking an Electronics NPI Engineer to for a temporary position (maternity leave replacement) join our NPI (EMD) Engineering team. In this role, you will bridge R&D and Manufacturing, taking an active role in early production builds and driving product readiness from development through successful transition to serial production. Key Responsibilities Support the electronics NPI activities of new Radars Systems from development through production readiness and ramp-up. Work closely with R&D teams to ensure manufacturability and testability, driving DFM and DFT considerations early in the development process. Support prototype, engineering, and pilot builds, identify technical and manufacturing gaps, and drive them to closure. Define and establish the manufacturing and integration processes required for new electronic products and assemblies. Investigate and resolve electronic, integration, test, and manufacturing issues during the NPI phase. Ensure readiness of relevant product documentation, manufacturing instructions, tools, fixtures, and test requirements prior to transfer to serial production. Drive continuous improvement based on lessons learned from builds, integration, testing, and early production. Requirements Requirements B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
