We have an exciting career opportunity for a Global Accounting Projects Leader to drive key global finance transformation and accounting initiatives. The role will lead the implementation of a new financial consolidation system and a standardized global monthly closing process as part of ADAMA’s Global Finance Transformation, strengthen the SOX compliance framework, and lead the implementation of new IFRS standards and reporting requirements across the company. This position reports to ADAMA’s Global Head of Controlling and Accounting and is located in Airport City, Israel. The successful candidate will combine strong accounting and financial reporting expertise with systems knowledge, SOX experience and proven project leadership capabilities. The role requires a hands-on leader who can lead a team to translate business and accounting requirements into effective, scalable solutions and drive change across our global organization. Role Summary Key Accountabilities Global Finance Transformation & Systems Implementation Lead the accounting workstream for the implementation of the Group’s new financial consolidation system, representing Global Accounting throughout the project lifecycle. Define accounting and business requirements and translate them into system design, processes and functional specifications, in close collaboration with IT, external advisors and implementation partners. Oversee key implementation activities, including process design, data migration, testing, validation, cutover and go-live readiness. Lead the design and implementation of a standardized global monthly closing process, promoting consistency, efficiency, timeliness and accuracy across ADAMA. Lead and contribute to additional Global Accounting projects and finance transformation initiatives and support process improvements. Group SOX Compliance Lead SOX compliance across the Group, including implementation and management of SOX processes from end-to-end. Ensure that SOX requirements are appropriately embedded in new systems, processes and finance transformation initiatives. Implementation of New Accounting Standards Lead the assessment and implementation of new IFRS standards and amendments relevant to ADAMA. Skills, Experience, Education The ideal candidate will have the following set of experiences and skills: At least 10 years of experience in finance/accounting roles Proven Experience with the implementation or transformation of financial systems, preferably consolidation platforms Strong background in complex group consolidation and financial reporting Strong knowledge and practical experience in SOX compliance and internal controls over financial reporting Experience with monthly close processes in a global organization – strong advantage Proven experience in managing or leading complex, cross-functional projects in a global environment Experience working with external consultants / system implementation partners Previous managerial experience Fluent English and Hebrew Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting Certified Public Accountant (CPA) The ideal candidate will have the following attributes Gets things done and unafraid to take initiative Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship building skills to drive change and influence stakeholders Systematic thinker with strong planning and process orientation Proven ability to manage complex projects, competing priorities and multiple deadlines in a dynamic, high-pressure environment Works well in a global multi-cultural environment and builds consensus Very strong attention to detail and accuracy Proven managerial and leadership capabilities
