Automation Development Student

We are looking for a Computer Science student for Automation development role, to help develop and maintain the Python-based testing infrastructure for a multidisciplinary product that combines hardware and software. You will work with the team to build test tools, write automated tests using Python and pytest, and investigate how the product behaves in real testing environments. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys learning how things work, exploring unfamiliar problems, and collaborating with people from different engineering disciplines. Develop and maintain Python tools and test infrastructure. Write, run, and improve automated tests using pytest. Work with hardware and software components in lab and product test environments. Investigate test failures, collect evidence, and help the team understand their causes. Collaborate with software, firmware, hardware, and system engineers. Document test procedures, findings, and useful technical information. Suggest improvements to make testing more reliable and easier to run. Third-year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Basic programming experience in Python, or a strong willingness to develop it. Interest in software testing and automation; experience with pytest is an advantage. Curiosity about how hardware and software work together. A practical, investigative approach to solving problems. The ability to learn independently, ask questions, and take ownership of tasks. A collaborative, approachable communication style and an interest in working with people across the team.
