Software Development Team Lead

abra professional services is seeking an experienced Software Development Team Lead to lead a development team in a large-scale cloud modernization project, leveraging modern technologies and AI-powered tools throughout the software development lifecycle. This is a full-time position located in central Israel, offering a hybrid work model. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a software development team, including task allocation, progress tracking, mentoring, and code reviews. Implement AI-driven Software Development Lifecycle (AI SDLC) practices, tools, and processes, including measuring their effectiveness. Drive technical initiatives and coordinate cross-functional activities with Development, Product, and Business teams. Take ownership of production issues, including investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution. Ensure timely delivery and achievement of project milestones within an Agile environment. Lead technical planning and implementation as part of a large-scale system modernization project. Work closely with the Development Manager, serving as a key technical and leadership partner. Drive initiatives independently, taking end-to-end ownership and ensuring successful execution. Requirements: At least 8 years of Full Stack development experience with .NET (C#) and React, with a strong backend orientation – mandatory. At least 3 years of experience managing a software development team – mandatory. Experience working in large organizations, including end-to-end processes, cross-team collaboration, and large-scale infrastructure – mandatory. Hands-on, daily experience developing with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot, including experience implementing these tools within a development team – mandatory. Experience in financial domains, including payments, cards, or banking – mandatory. Strong understanding of software architecture, including services, APIs, and system integrations – mandatory. Experience with cloud technologies and CI/CD processes – mandatory. Strong initiative, independence, and ability to drive processes within complex organizations – mandatory. Proven ability to take end-to-end ownership, manage priorities, and meet deadlines under pressure – mandatory.
