Located in the Central District directly adjacent to primary train transit, operating on a full-time in-office model. Role Description- Serving as a Senior Data & Backend Engineer, joining the core engineering squad to hold complete end-to-end ownership over the company's data layer architecture and infrastructure. Designing, building, and optimizing high-throughput ETL / ELT pipelines powering user-facing product features, analytics engines, and policy evaluation models. Engineering robust multi-cloud ingestion pipelines that normalize complex telemetry, entitlement graphs, and access logs from AWS, Azure, and GCP into a unified internal data schema. Architecting large-scale analytical data stores, defining storage architectures, partitioning strategies, and tuning query execution across modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift). Building and orchestrating distributed streaming and batch workflows utilizing Spark, Airflow, Kafka, Flink, and Redis. Developing backend microservices primarily in Node.js (alongside components in Python/Go) running across multi-cloud environments. Partnering cross-functionally with Product, Security Research, and Core Backend teams to transform complex cloud security data into low-latency, real-time protection mechanisms. Requirements- At least 4 years of proven hands-on software development experience with Node.js – Mandatory Strong multi-language proficiency with solid hands-on experience in Node.js, Python, or Go – Mandatory Proven background from Cybersecurity / Information Security (אבטחת מידע) companies – Mandatory Proven hands-on track record building large-scale, production-grade Cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure) – Mandatory Strong practical experience with modern Data Warehouses: Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake – Mandatory Solid background with distributed messaging and streaming/caching engines: Kafka, Apache Flink, or Redis – Mandatory Hands-on experience designing end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines and orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Airflow) – Mandatory Willingness to work in a collaborative, full-time on-site setup in Central Tel Aviv – Mandatory Fluent professional communication in English (written and verbal) – Mandatory
