Data Engineering Manager

Wanted: Data Engineering Manager for a Cybersecurity company in Tel Aviv. This is a very rewarding full-time and On-site position. Directing the architecture of an enterprise-grade cloud data platform, this leader will drive the technical roadmap while embedding rigorous software engineering principles and modern data practices. Job Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Data and Analytics Engineers, actively managing hiring, regular 1:1s, performance feedback, and individual career roadmaps. Architect, optimize, and maintain a large-scale, scalable cloud data platform and robust data pipelines to support enterprise analytics and business initiatives. Instill software engineering rigor across the team through automated testing, CI/CD implementation, code reviews, and proactive data quality monitoring. Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders across product, analytics, and business units to translate complex requirements into reliable data products. Job Requirements: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data or Analytics Engineering, alongside at least 2 years of proven experience managing and developing technical teams. Advanced programming proficiency in Python and complex SQL, with deep expertise in data modeling, schema design, and ETL/ELT pipelines. Strong practical experience with scalable cloud data platforms (preferably AWS) and modern data warehouses such as Snowflake or AWS Redshift. Solid background in core software engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, and production monitoring. High-impact familiarity with tools like Apache Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Terraform, and BI platforms (Tableau/Power BI), with a solid grasp of Data Privacy and Security principles. Show more Show less
