Located in Tel Aviv within walking distance of the train station, operating on a hybrid model with two days working from home. Role Description- Serving as a Director of Engineering / AI Tech Lead, taking end-to-end technical leadership over the AI Search & Agentic platform from early research and conceptualization to large-scale production deployment. Managing and mentoring two engineering teams through direct Team Leads, while maintaining a strong, hands-on technical presence (30% hands-on coding, architecture, and code reviews). Spearheading the architecture and execution of agentic workflows, multi-agent orchestration, autonomous web-crawling/scraping pipelines, and real-time semantic processing engines. Scaling distributed Big Data infrastructure designed to ingest, index, and process vast volumes of unstructured and structured web data. Bridging research and engineering: partnering with AI/ML researchers to productize complex models, LLM fine-tuning, and retrieval-augmented pipelines into resilient production services. Establishing high engineering standards, architectural roadmaps, and delivery execution across the organization. Requirements- 10 years of overall experience in software engineering, technical leadership, and large-scale infrastructure – Mandatory 2+ years of management experience leading Team Leads / Managers (Group Lead / Engineering Director level) – Mandatory 2 years of hands-on experience in an Agentic AI or AI Infrastructure company – Mandatory Deep, practical, and hands-on expertise in AI / ML engineering, LLMs, and modern Agentic frameworks – Mandatory Proven track record building and scaling Data Infrastructure and systems that ingest, store, and process massive-scale web data (beyond standard enterprise data warehouses) – Mandatory Strong technical passion with the drive to remain hands-on (~30%) in system architecture, core design, and coding – Mandatory Exceptional leadership, execution focus, and fluent technical communication skills in English – Mandatory Show more Show less
