Group Lead

Join our Digital Group as a Group Lead to lead a business-critical technology domain serving AT&T customers. We are looking for an inspiring leader with deep technology understanding, strong business instincts, and a proven track record as managers. We need someone who brings positive energy and resilience to thrive even under pressure, takes end-to-end ownership, and enjoys solving complex customer problems while driving meaningful outcomes through technology. Key Responsibilities Manage and Develop Leaders: Lead and mentor a high-performing, multidisciplinary engineering organization, directly managing engineering managers and technical leaders. End-to-End Ownership: Drive full end-to-end operational and technical ownership across all activities within the domain. Matrix & Cross-Functional Alignment: Lead effectively in a complex matrix environment, collaborating closely with Product, Business, and global stakeholders. Strategy & Roadmap: Define and communicate the domain’s technology vision and long-term roadmap in alignment with business and customer goals. Culture & Positive Drive: Foster an energetic, innovative, and collaborative environment, bringing positive energy and calm execution during high-pressure situations. 8+ years of software engineering experience, with proven experience as a Manager of Managers ( former Director of Engineering, Group Lead, or Senior Engineering Manager). Strong background in managing multidisciplinary teams within a global matrix structure. Proven track record of end-to-end accountability over complex technology platforms and business outcomes. Exceptional leadership skills with high emotional intelligence, positive energy, and resilience under pressure. Proven experience leading AI adoption across engineering processes and delivering agentic products that create business value. *We are hiring for various positions within the company, with some roles offered through outsourcing.
