PCB Layout Designer

PCB Layout Editor (Printed Circuit Board Editor) – Yokneam For our Yokneam site, the Hardware Department in the Land Division is seeking a PCB Layout Editor. Responsibilities: Design and layout of printed circuit boards (PCBs). Full responsibility for the PCB layout process from start to finish, including process improvement initiatives. Management and execution of PCB layout activities. Close collaboration with hardware design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and PCB manufacturers. Management and maintenance of the electronic component library. Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in PCB layout design, from component creation through manufacturing package release. Experience with component definition and database management. Practical Engineer or B.Sc. Engineer in Electronics – an advantage. Ability to review, validate, and correct layout files created by other PCB designers. Experience with Mentor Graphics Expedition / Xpedition – a significant advantage. Experience working with PCB manufacturers and providing technical support for manufacturing issues. In-depth understanding of IPC-6012 / IPC-6013 standards – an advantage. Ability to work independently with a high level of ownership and work ethic.
