Position Overview Work with customers as a world leader in electronic design automation solutions, providing services for the world's largest electronic and semiconductor companies. As an FPGA Prototyping Applications Engineer, you will support our Israel sales team out of the Israel office. You will contribute to our success by assisting in the sales and deployment of Siemens FPGA Prototyping verification products, while increasing customer satisfaction and productivity. Key Responsibilities Drive business for Siemens EDA using hands-on technical expertise, working directly with customers as part of the sales team by identifying and qualifying technical engagements, defining evaluation and benchmark criteria, and executing technical campaigns to ensure technical milestones are met Deploy Siemens EDA prototyping software and hardware solutions at customer sites Promote technical customer service to build and strengthen customer relationships, ensuring long-term customer happiness and becoming the go-to expert for all customer inquiries and support Collaborate with area sales management, account teams, and customers to identify business opportunities and technical requirements Troubleshoot and resolve technical obstacles; develop and deliver technical presentations on new features and product updates Provide in-depth technical feedback and product ideas to our prototyping product development teams to improve overall product performance Communicate customers' technical requirements to product marketing Build a network of peer-level technical relationships with customers Work collaboratively with team members to ensure mutual success Qualifications Experience in a design engineering role focusing on functional verification, including emulation/prototyping and simulation, or recent experience as an Application Engineer in a relevant field BS or MS or equivalent experience in EE, CE, CS or related areas Understanding of computer architecture, including industry-standard interfaces, memory subsystems, SoC design, and verification methodologies Experience with SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL, UVM, SystemC, and/or C/C++ for RTL design and SoC-level verification Experience with ASIC and/or FPGA implementation (synthesis, static timing analysis, place & route), multi-FPGA bring-up, multiple clock domains, asynchronous interfaces, and industry FPGA tools (Xilinx Vivado, Altera Quartus) Proficient in scripting (Perl, Python, Makefile) on UNIX/Linux platforms; fluent English (written and oral); proactive team player willing to learn new technologies and methodologies; experienced working with customers and cross-functional teams Why Us We are Siemens: At Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work—hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy. Our Benefits & Rewards The total cash compensation range for this position is ILS 292,300 to 643,100 with 20% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target (100% achievement). The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
