SRE-DevOps Engineer

Summary Our software team is growing, and we are looking for an SRE-DevOps Engineer to be entrusted with designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and automation frameworks that power our development ecosystem. Description Your role will encompass end-to-end CI/CD pipeline ownership, cloud and on-premise infrastructure management, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems. You will be the backbone that enables our engineering teams to ship fast and confidently. We value agility, so staying updated and adaptable to our evolving tech stack is inherent to the role. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development, testing, and deployment workflows Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and scaling operations Collaborate closely with development and data teams to understand and support their infrastructure needs Monitor system health, reliability, and performance, and drive incident response and resolution Enforce security best practices across infrastructure, access management, and deployments Manage and optimize containerized workloads and orchestration platforms Maintain and improve observability frameworks including logging, monitoring, and alerting Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to continuously improve the development infrastructure Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of proven experience as an SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineer in a fast-paced environment Strong proficiency in scripting and automation languages (Python, Bash, or similar) Hands-on experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines Deep understanding of cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code principles Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and observability stacks Hands-on experience with some or most of the following tools: Jenkins, ArgoCD, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, CloudFormation, AWS, Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic, OpenTelemetry, ELK Stack, Logstash, Splunk, Vault (HashiCorp), AWS Secrets Manager, Nginx, JFrog Artifactory, Harbor, Docker Hub, AWS ECR, Python, and Bash Preferred Qualifications Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills At Apple, we believe accessibility is a fundamental human right.
