Production Supervisor / Project Manager JB-5492

A medical device manufacturing company is seeking a Project Manager and Production Supervisor. This role combines ongoing management of production activities, overall responsibility for a major project in the medical device field, customer interaction, and internal stakeholder management. The position includes supporting the project from the customer requirements stage through actual production implementation, while meeting quality, delivery, throughput, and capacity targets. Areas of responsibility include managing and coordinating ongoing activities on the production line and customer plan. Responsibility for customer requirements, priorities, schedules, and deliverables. Direct and ongoing interaction with the customer and updates regarding progress, tasks, and risks. Leading production scale-up processes and capacity planning. Monitoring throughput, quality, deliveries, and open tasks. Reading and understanding mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and tolerances. Working with SolidWorks and technical drawings as needed. Collaboration with engineering, quality, production, planning, and supply chain departments. Solving technical and operational problems and driving continuous improvement processes. Physical presence and hands-on work on the production floor, including support for employees and achievement of targets. Ensuring work is performed in accordance with procedures, quality assurance requirements, and medical device industry standards. Degree in Mechanical Engineering / similar technical field. Minimum two years of experience in production management / manufacturing projects – mandatory. Experience in the medical device industry – significant advantage. Experience in production management, project management, manufacturing engineering, or similar technical-operational role – mandatory. Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, specifications, and tolerances. Knowledge and experience working with SolidWorks or similar CAD software. Experience working directly with customers and managing requirements, expectations, and priorities. Good understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to work hands-on on the production floor. Experience in a regulatory environment and working with quality management systems – advantage. English and Hebrew at a high level, written and verbal.
