Junior QA Automation Engineer

We’re looking for a Junior QA Automation Engineer to join a fast-moving startup in the quantum computing industry. This role is ideal for someone hands-on, with practical experience in automation, who enjoys working in a fast-paced product environment and is eager to learn and grow alongside. Immediate availability – an advantage Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated tests for high-level software, including SDKs, APIs, user-facing tools, and supporting services. Translate product requirements and existing test plans into reliable automated test scenarios. Investigate test failures, report defects clearly, and work with developers to identify their root causes. Contribute to the automation framework, CI workflows, and test reporting as test coverage grows Requirements 2+ year of hands-on experience in QA Automation Hands-on experience with Python Hands-on experience with Playwright Practical experience with API testing and REST APIs Previous experience working in a startup environment – required Experience writing and maintaining automated tests Familiarity with software testing methodologies Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and collaboration skills Show more Show less
