Technical Project Manager

About the Company ESP 710 develops and manufactures cutting-edge loitering munitions and tactical reconnaissance drones at the forefront of defense technology. About the Role We are seeking a high-impact Technological Project Manager with deep systems understanding and strong execution capabilities to lead full-lifecycle development and delivery programs for advanced defense-grade unmanned systems. This is NOT a traditional process-oriented PM role. We are looking for a Builder, not a Coordinator—a hands-on technical leader who takes complete end-to-end ownership of a program: from understanding operational needs and defining requirements, through R&D, system integration, and field testing, to transition-to-production, client acceptance, and delivery. Responsibilities End-to-End Ownership: Own full program responsibility from initial order/requirement definition through development, testing, and final client delivery. Requirements Translation: Translate operational needs and client expectations into concrete engineering work plans and execution roadmaps. Multidisciplinary Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams spanning software, electronics, mechanics, RF communications, integration, and systems engineering. Integration & Field Testing: Drive system integration processes, lab validations, and field flight trials until system maturity is achieved. Risk & Change Management: Proactively identify technical, operational, and supply bottlenecks; manage engineering change orders (ECOs) and task prioritization. Cross-Functional Synchronization: Serve as the central hub connecting R&D, procurement, vendors, integration, manufacturing, and field ops. Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary technical interface for defense clients, operational end-users, and executive management. Qualifications Multidisciplinary PM Experience: Proven track record in managing complex, multidisciplinary technology projects involving hardware, software, electronics, mechanics, and communications. Technical & Systems Depth: Strong technical background enabling lead complex projects with the engineering teams and system trade-off decisions. Full-Lifecycle Execution: Hands-on experience leading projects through R&D, integration, field testing, and delivery. Multi-Tasking & Drive: Exceptional ability to manage parallel workflows in a fast-paced, high-tempo defense environment. Total Ownership: Proven experience owning program outcomes (scope, schedule, analysis risk, budget, quality, and field performance) rather than just project administration. Required Skills Experience in Defense-Tech, unmanned systems (UAVs/drones), robotics, or autonomous systems. Experience working directly with defense clients (Ministry of Defense, IDF, law enforcement, or international defense partners). Background in transitioning products from R&D/prototype to serial production (NPI). Familiarity with Embedded systems, RF communications, C2 systems, Computer Vision/AI, or Electro-Optics. Academic degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical, Software, Industrial, etc.). Show more Show less
