Data Science & AI Lead

A growing investment firm is looking for an experienced Data Science Lead to take end-to-end ownership of its data science capabilities and play a key role in data-driven investment decisions. This is a hands-on leadership position combining production machine learning, advanced AI development, technical strategy, and team mentorship. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the Data Science function and define technical standards, priorities, and best practices * Own and continuously improve production models supporting portfolio pricing and performance forecasting * Design and implement robust model retraining pipelines to ensure models remain accurate and reflect current portfolio behavior * Build systematic feedback loops that turn post-deal performance analysis into continuous model improvements * Design and develop an Agentic AI layer enabling business users to query data, run scenarios, and access model outputs directly * Develop LLM-based workflows, AI agents, and appropriate governance mechanisms for working with financial data * Partner closely with business stakeholders and translate complex model outputs into clear, actionable insights * Mentor Data Scientists and support their professional and technical development * 5+ years of Data Science experience, including hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining Machine Learning models in production * Strong Python and SQL skills, with experience owning production data and ML pipelines * Experience working with cloud-based data platforms; GCP and BigQuery experience is an advantage * Hands-on experience with LLMs and modern AI tools, including delivering AI-powered workflows or features * Strong commercial mindset and the ability to connect analytical outputs with business decisions * High level of ownership, independence, and execution capability * Fluent English Nice to Have: * Experience designing Agentic AI systems or LLM-based products in production * Background in credit risk, lending, collections, or debt portfolio management * Experience with survival analysis, forecasting, or propensity modeling * Previous experience leading or mentoring Data Scientists This is an opportunity to lead a high-impact Data Science function and build advanced AI and ML capabilities that directly influence real-world investment decisions. *בלחיצה על שליחת קורות החיים, אני מאשר/ת כי קראתי את מדיניות הפרטיות, ומסכים/ה לכך שקורות החיים שלי יישמרו במאגר חברת פיבוט משאבי אנוש בע"מ. ידוע לי כי אני רשאי/ת לבקש עיון, תיקון או מחיקה של המידע בכל עת*
